Archibald Prize finalist Kordelya Zhan Sui Chi designed these certificates for BDM. Her designs combine Chinese design elements with each zodiac animal and iconic Australian flora.

These specially-designed birth certificates are decorative mementos.

They're not a legal document. You can't used them for official purposes.

Each certificate is printed on archival quality paper and fits a standard frame size of 280mm x 355mm (11" x 14"). You can apply for a commemorative birth certificate when you order a legal birth certificate or when you register the birth.

About Kordelya Zhan Sui Chi

Kordelya Zhan Sui Chi is an Archibald Prize artist. She is well known for her portrait works in Australia.

Kody was born in Guangzhou, China. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Fine Arts Institute there. She wanted to explore the world and came to Australia in 1987. She journeys back home for up to five months a year, to reacquaint herself with the culture and to paint.

Kody’s talent comes in buckets, or paint cans. The 2008 Archibald entry of her son, Julius, made the top five. In the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize she has made the top five three times. She is also a sculptor, print maker and ceramic artist. She has also held exhibitions in her homeland.
